Our economical cold lasers allow you to offer affordable low level laser therapy to your patients increasing patient satisfaction, increasing referrals and your income.

Many of our clients report great success using treatment frequencies of 9 Hz +/- , 12 Hz+/-, 16 Hz +/- and / or 21 Hz+/- as treatment frequencies. Most use treatment times of about four to six minutes per area with the 635nm 5mw wand or if using the 650nm 50mw OR 808nm 150mw wand about two minutes per treatment area. The lasers should be kept in continuous motion around the area(s) being treated.

Desktop Suggested Set Up: (sugested set up for portable & multi laser wand are listed below)

1. Put laser goggles on everyone in the room

2. Turn on power switch on back of unit. Slide the wand into the connector on top left corner of the power supply and twist 1/4 turn to the right to lock.

3. Push the FIRST button TWO times. The LEFT display should read 2.

4. Push the SECOND button TWO times for (2 Hz +/- to 20 Hz +/-). The RIGHT display should read 2 OR THREE times for (20 Hz +/- to 200 Hz +/-). The RIGHT display should read 3

5. Push the THIRD (RUN) button ONCE. The unit is now set to run in the selected range with a square wave output to the wands.

6. The VOLTAGE knob is the lower right knob. It controls voltage to the laser wand. Voltage is displayed on the right display. Set the wand operating voltage to 9.5 volts.

7. Adjust the pulse rate of the laser light flashing with the PULSE RATE (lower left knob). The pulse rate is displayed on the left display.

* The VOLTAGE knob is the lower right knob. It controls voltage to the laser wand. Voltage is displayed on the right display. Set the voltage to 9.5 volts.

* The DUTY CYCLE knob is usually set to the red line for a crisp pulse. This upper right knob determines how long the pulse width is to the wand. We recommend 75% power on (duty) setting.

* The STAND-BY buttons are both left outward when the laser is in use. If either or both buttons are pushed inwards, voltage is lowered and the wands will NOT light.

The most common reason the wand will not light up is one or both of the STAND-BY buttons have been pushed, reducing the voltage.

LIGHT FROM THE 808 NM WAND IS NEARLY INVISIBLE. TO DETERMINE IF IT IS WORKING POINT THE WAND AT A WHITE SHEET OF PAPER IN A DARK ROOM. NOT LOOK INTO THE BEAM BECAUSE IT IS HARMFUL!

Portable & Multi Laser Wand Suggested Set Up

Our portable laser power supply uses nickel-metal hydride rechargeable batteries to avoid the memory effect of earlier battery types. When the laser beam just starts to dim, charge the unit by plugging one end of the wall charger into the wall and one end into the back of the unit. After a few days you will get an idea exactly how long the batteries will last in your particular application. Expect about 5 full hours of laser time if using one 50mw or 150mw laser and one 5mw laser. Expect about two hours of battery life when using the 5 diode laser. Many other factors may increase or reduce battery life.

Portable laser controllers built after January 8th, 2008 have circuitry to avoid over charging the battery. The LED by the key switch indicates charging status. The red LED lights when connected to the charger to indicate the battery is charging. The red LED will NOT light when the unit is fully charged.

Many of our clients report great success using treatment times of about four to six minutes per area with the 635nm 5mw wand or if using the 650nm 50mw OR 808nm 150mw wand about two minutes per treatment area. The 5 diode laser should be used for about one minute per area. The lasers should be kept in continuous motion around the area(s) being treated.

1. Put laser goggles on everyone in the room

2. Plug in laser wand(s) taking care to align the pins when inserting (insert and remove using bullet connector not laser tip).

3. Insert the key and turn it 90 degrees (the amber LED near it will light)

4. Point the laser where you wish (and away from the eyes or shiny objects). Press the red button. The green LED near the button will flash.

5. When about 30 seconds are up the green LED (and laser) will turn off. Press the red button again to repeat.

As long as the key is turned 90 degrees and the yellow LED is lit the battery will be depleted. Therefore turn the key off and remove it when the unit is not in use. As a reminder, the laser will NOT charge when the yellow LED is lit.

The key can NOT be removed while the laser is powered on.
